U.S. shale oil pioneer Papa may be getting back into the business

The Motley Fool investment site says Mark Papa, the so-called "godfather" of U.S. shale oil, appears to be coming out of retirement from EOG Resources, the company he founded in 1999. The site says Papa’s new company, Silver Run Acquisition Corp., has $450 million in cash and is “on the hunt for bargain oil and gas assets.” The Motley Fool also asks whether Papa being tempted out of retirement signals the bottom of the market for oil and natural gas.
