U.S. oil and gas rig count back over the 900 mark

The U.S. oil and natural gas drilling rebound that extends back almost a year recently surpassed another benchmark, rising above 900 drilling rigs in its 18th straight week of gains, reports Oil & Gas Journal. The news site says the Baker Hughes' rig count stood at 901 for the week ending May 19, 2017. That was up by 497 rigs since hitting a low on May 27, 2016. For more, read the full story.
