TransCanada explores Ohio-to-Michigan pipeline project

TransCanada Corp. is looking at building a 500-mile natural gas pipeline from Monroe County, Ohio, in the Utica shale play to the shores of Lake Michigan, reports Columbus Business First. The company reportedly is exploring an extension of its ANR pipeline that will send gas from the Utica and Marcellus shale plays to the Gulf Coast and other areas of the country. The new extension would run from Clarington in southeastern Ohio to Bridgman, Mich., a small town bordering the Great Lakes. For more, read the full story.
