PTT plans to wrap up initial work on Ohio ethane ‘cracker’ project by mid-2016

Thai company PTT Global Chemical says its expects to wrap up the initial work on its proposed $5.7 billion ethane “cracker” plant in eastern Ohio by mid-2016, reports Columbus Business First. The newspaper says the company recently began its due diligence work on the Belmont County location along the Ohio River, spending $100 million on engineering and design work.
