Penn Virginia Resource to build $380 million worth of pipelines in Pennsylvania

On Monday, Penn Virginia Resource Partners L.P. announced $380 million worth of new pipelines that will serve the Marcellus Shale natural gas drillers in Pennsylvania, The Inquirer reports. In addition to extending its Lycoming County system to "collect and process gas from the wells of four gas drillers," PVR is also using rights of way in Lycoming County to work with Aqua America Inc. to construct pipes that will deliver fresh river water to drillers, the article said.
