Natural gas production continues to rise in Pennsylvania

Data from Pennsylvania’s Independent Fiscal Office shows that natural gas production in the state rose nearly 5% in the third quarter of 2017 and was up 3.6% for the year, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times. The newspaper says the agency also estimated that increases in natural gas production and producing wells should be in the single digit percentage points in 2017 compared to 2016, and reach record levels in the state.
