Map and new details available for the $1.5 billion Nexus Gas Transmission pipeline

Akron Beacon Journal obtained a map and new details about the approximately $1.5 billion Nexus Gas Transmission pipeline, which will transport natural gas from Ohio shale drilling operations to Detroit and then Ontario, Canada (See our Sept 10, 2012, blog post – "Details emerge on proposed Ohio pipeline"). The proposed pipeline would "run under more than 50 miles of Stark, Summit and Medina counties," and the eastern terminus would be near Carrollton. Three companies are behind the pipeline project: Detroit-based DTE Energy, Calgary-based Enbridge Inc. and Houston-based Spectra Energy Corp. For more, read the full story.
