Jobs of energy executives will be in jeopardy if low oil prices persist

Energy company executives have held on to their jobs during the crash in oil prices and resulting layoffs of oilfield workers and mid-level employees, but that could be about to change, reports the Houston Business Journal. "If prices stay down, that'll be the next thing (companies will) do," Tom Simmons, the global leader of Spencer Stuart’s energy practice, told the newspaper.
