Gulfport reports high liquids yields for two Ohio Utica wells

Oklahoma-based Gulfport Energy Corp. reported production results on Wednesday for two of its Utica shale wells in eastern Ohio, Oil & Gas Journal reports. Stutzman 1-14H in Belmont County “tested at an average sustained 4-hr rate of 21 MMcfd of gas and 945 b/d of NGL assuming full ethane recovery and a natural gas shrink of 11%, or 4,060 boe/d,” while Harrison County’s Clay 1-4H “tested at an average sustained 12-hr rate of 747 b/d of condensate, 5.9 MMcfd of gas, and 761 b/d of natural gas liquids assuming full ethane recovery and a natural gas shrink of 27%, or a combined 2,226 b/d of oil equivalent.” For more, read the full story.
