Enbridge Inc to expand pipelines in U.S. and Canada

Enbridge Inc, the largest transporter of Canadian oil exports, is planning $3.2 billion worth of pipeline projects aimed at "moving western Canadian crude to Eastern refineries and preventing bottlenecks in the U.S. Midwest," Reuters reports. $2.6 billion of the plan will reverse the flow direction of a pipeline between Ontario and Montreal; $400 million will be used to expand a pipeline between North Dakota and Chicago; and $200 million will go toward expanding the Canadian portion of that system, the article said.
