Columbiana County Port Authority approves leases for two oil and gas-related projects that need additional space

Last week, the Columbiana County Port Authority approved two leases for growing oil and gas-related operations in the area, The Business Journal reports. Tulsa-based Anchor Drilling Fluids USA Inc. is leasing an additional acre to store more inbound storage tanks adjacent to a $2 million plant it opened in November at the Wellsville Intermodal Facility. The port authority also approved a lease with Louisiana-based Southern Automatic Inc. "to store and set up equipment needed as part of Ergon Inc.'s planned $78 million expansion of its oil processing units and supporting infrastructure in Newell, West Virginia," the article said.
