Chesapeake Energy-sponsored study disputes drinking water contamination claims

A Chesapeake Energy Corp.-sponsored report from Weston Solutions, a consulting firm, found "no links between natural gas drilling and water impacts" after drawing split samples from 15 Bradford County drinking water wells in Pennsylvania, the Akron Beacon Journal reports. The samples came from the same area where the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency was collecting and testing water samples in late 2011, the article said.
