Attorney representing Hardrock Excavating LLC withdraws from the company's illegal dumping case

Attorney J. Gerald Ingram filed a motion to withdraw himself as counsel for Hardrock Excavating LLC in the criminal proceeding for illegally dumping wastewater into a Mahoning River tributary, WFMJ.com reports (See our March 05, 2013, blog post – "ODNR permanently shuts down Hardrock Excavating for the illegal disposal of oilfield wastewater on several occasions"). In the motion, Ingram indicated that he was "retained by a shareholder of Hardrock who is not an officer or a director to represent the company in arraignment proceedings," but that he "does not have access to books and records for the company," which is "keeping him from effectively representing the client."
