Aslanides to serve as president of Ohio Oil and Gas Association

Former State Representative Jim Aslanides recently began his term as the new president of the Ohio Oil and Gas Association, reports the Zanesville Times Recorder. Aslanides, who represented Zanesville, Coshocton and surrounding communities at the Ohio Statehouse from 1999 to 2009, has owned an oil and natural gas drilling business since 1981 and is a longtime member of the 3,000-member association, according to the newspaper. Aslanides is replacing outgoing president David Hill.
