Antero shifts gas to Great Lakes markets along Seneca lateral

Argus Media reports that Antero Resources has said new transportation capacity on the Rockies Express Pipeline's Seneca Lateral in southeast Ohio is allowing the company to move Utica shale production to higher priced markets in the Great Lakes region. Denver-based Antero said the lateral, which went into service June 26, makes it possible to shift its natural gas to higher pricing at Chicago indexes instead of the Texas Eastern Transmission M2 hub.  Antero has also said it has signed an agreement to be an anchor shipper on Energy Transfer Partners' ET Rover Pipeline that will connect the Marcellus and Utica shale plays to the Great Lakes and Gulf Coast, or for export to Canadian markets.
