American Energy, EMG form midstream joint venture

With sights set on development of the Utica and Marcellus shale plays, American Energy Partners LP and the Energy and Minerals Group announced they are forming a new joint venture called American Energy – Midstream, LLC. The State Journal in Charleston, W.Va., reports the new company will invest in midstream projects such as natural gas gathering and processing systems and long-haul pipelines associated with the Marcellus, Utica, Woodford and Permian Basin shale plays.
