Youngstown voters again defeat ballot initiative trying to ban hydraulic fracturing

A ballot initiative seeking to ban hydraulic fracturing and the extraction of fossil fuels in Youngstown, Ohio failed for the seventh time on May 8th, losing 56% to 44%, reports the Youngstown Vindicator. The newspaper says voters had rejected similar ballot measures twice in both 2013 and 2014 and once each in 2015 and 2016. For more, read the full story.
