U.S. manufacturers oppose expedited LNG export permits

American manufacturing companies are worried that a boom in liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports will reduce domestic supply and raise energy prices, according to FuelFix.com. The news site says the Industrial Energy Consumers of America has sent a letter to U.S. Energy Secretary Rick Perry, asking his department to deny expedited approvals for LNG export permits.
