Shell completes early work on Pennsylvania ethane ‘cracker’

The Shell Chemicals executive responsible for construction of the company's $6 billion ethane “cracker” plant in western Pennsylvania “promises even more dramatic changes to the Beaver County skyline later this year,” reports the Pittsburgh Business Times. “We have finished all the early work on the project,” Shell Vice President Hilary Mercer told the newspaper, “and we’re starting to come out of the ground."
