Shell Chemicals will use two of the largest cranes in the world

Shell Chemicals acquired two of the largest cranes in the world to assist with significant heavy lifting components of its Potter Township ethane cracker plant site construction, according to The Times. The larger crane is 675 feet tall and can lift 3,500 tons at a time, and the other crane is 430 feet tall and can lift 3,000 tons a time, according to Shell Spokesman Joe Minnittee.
