Report: NEXUS pipeline to generate $83.7 million in tax revenue in Ohio

The NEXUS Gas Transmission Pipeline is expected to generate an estimated $83.7 million in tax revenue for Ohio counties, school districts, municipalities and townships in its first year on the tax rolls, possibly as early as 2019, reports The Gazette in Medina County. The newspaper says the estimate is from a report by Public Finance Resources Inc., a firm that provides financial forecasting for government entities. The $2.1 billion project will include 255 miles of pipeline, four compressor stations and five metering and regulating stations, according to the report. For more, read the full story.
