PTT acquires more land for proposed ethane ‘cracker’ plant in eastern Ohio

PTT Global Chemical now controls about 500 acres for building its proposed ethane “cracker” plant in Belmont County, Ohio with the recent filing of a deed that shows the Thailand-based company acquired the 350-acre Ohio-West Virginia Excavating property at the site, reports the Wheeling Intelligencer/News-Register. The newspaper notes PTT also paid more than $13 million in the summer of 2017 to purchase the former R.E. Burger power plant property from FirstEnergy Corp. For more, read the full story.
