Natural gas power plant may be built on Ohio State campus

A natural gas-fueled power plant could be built on Ohio State University’s Columbus campus as part of the university’s new energy management contract with Engie, reports Columbus Business First. The newspaper says the French energy company, which recently won the leasing rights to Ohio State’s energy program for the next 50 years, may build a 60-megawatt facility between Ohio Stadium and the McCracken power plant.
