Lordstown Industrial Park finally getting second power plant

On February 22, 2019, after the $1 billion project was held up in court for over a year, a second power plant was approved for the Lordstown Industrial Park, according to The Business Journal. The legal dispute arose over land acquisition between the majority owner of the Lordstown Energy Center and Clean Energy Future LLC, which is overseeing the development of the 940-megawatt power plant.
