FERC approves Kinder Morgan project for Utica, Marcellus natural gas liquids

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has approved a $412 million project that will allow Kinder Morgan to convert a 964-mile stretch of existing pipeline for the purpose of carrying natural gas liquids (NGLs) from the Utica and Marcellus shale plays to Texas, reports Argus Media. The news site says the Utica Marcellus Texas project will use infrastructure on Kinder Morgan's Tennessee Gas Pipeline system to move propane, butane, natural gasoline and other NGLs from processing facilities near Scio, Ohio.
