Federal court dismisses lawsuit against Nexus Gas Transmission

On February 21, 2019, the U.S Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit dismissed a lawsuit against Nexus Gas Transmission brought forth by three citizen groups over air pollution permits for pipeline compressor stations, according to Big Law Business. The court ruled that “Protecting Air for Westerville”, “Neighbors Against Nexus” and “Sustainable Court Medina” lacked standing to challenge the permits and were unable to explain the harmful effects the pipeline compressor stations will have on group members.
