Dominion seeks OK to export LNG from Maryland terminal

Dominion has requested federal approval to export commissioning cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from its Cove Point liquefaction project being built at the energy company’s terminal in Calvert County, Maryland, reports LNG World News. Dominion intends to use LNG sourced from natural gas in the Marcellus and Utica shale region in the commissioning cargoes or LNG previously imported by its Cove Point terminal.
