BLM plans another mineral rights auction for Wayne National Forest

The U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will hold an auction for another 345 acres of mineral rights in Ohio’s Wayne National Forest on March 22, 2018, according to Marcellus Drilling News. The news site says this will be BLM’s fifth auction of mineral rights for oil and natural gas development in the forest. The most recent one took place in December 2017 when the agency auctioned 350 acres in Monroe County, Ohio, netting $944,000. Click here to read more.
