EPA will retest Wyoming water for contamination related to hydraulic fracturing

Amid complaints that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency rushed the results of initial tests that found hydraulic fracturing operations in Pavillion, Wyoming, responsible for contaminating the region's water supply, the agency announced recently that it plans to work with the U.S. Geological Survey and Wyoming officials to retest the water in an effort to "clarify questions about the initial monitoring results," The Wall Street Journal reports.
