The Ohio State University announces new Subsurface Energy Resource Center
|
The Ohio State University recently announced the formation of its new Subsurface Energy Resource Center to be co-directed by Dr. Doug Southgate and Dr. Jeff Daniels. According to the Columbus Dispatch, the Center will "pool the talents of OSU experts in earth and environmental sciences, engineering, energy, economics, law, government policy, public health and agriculture" to study shale developments in Ohio. OSU President, E. Gordon Gee further explained that the Center will be used "as a comprehensive resource for policymakers, companies, and citizens."
