NiSource Inc.’s Midstream & Minerals Group has formed a venture with Houston-based Hilcorp Energy Co. to construct pipelines and a processing plant in the Utica shale region, The Columbus Dispatch reports (See the May 03, 2012, blog – “NiSource enters into Utica drilling venture”). The projects between these two companies, known as Pennant Midstream, include the construction of 50 miles of pipeline in northeast Ohio and Pennsylvania as well as the construction of “a natural-gas liquids processing plant with a capacity of 200 million cubic feet per day” at a location that has not yet been disclosed, the article said.
